Before your appointment
You may be asked about your skin cancer history, sun exposure and any spots you are concerned about.
A straightforward, respectful appointment
Workplace skin screening is designed to be practical, private and informative.
You may be asked about your skin cancer history, sun exposure and any spots you are concerned about.
The nurse explains the assessment and seeks consent. The examination is limited to the agreed screening scope and your preferences.
You receive an explanation of any concerns and advice about appropriate follow-up. Screening cannot rule out all skin cancers.
Workplace screening is not a diagnosis and does not replace a comprehensive GP or dermatologist examination. Concerning or changing lesions should be reviewed promptly by a medical practitioner.
